Data deletion

Last updated: October 2026

If you messaged a business on Messenger or Instagram

If you messaged the Facebook Page or Instagram account of a business that uses Attos, your messages are managed by that business from its own account. To request deletion of your conversation, ask that business directly (through the same channel you wrote to) or email info@bdbagency.com.

If instead you remove access for the "ATTOS CRM" app from your Facebook or Instagram settings, or request deletion of your data from your Meta account settings, Meta notifies us automatically. That notice ONLY disconnects and deletes the credentials of the Page/account connections YOU authorized in Attos (for example, if you manage a page for a BDB client) — it does not delete messages other people sent to that Page; those follow the rule in the paragraph above.

If your business connected a Page or account to Attos

Your organization's administrator can disconnect any Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number from Settings → Integrations inside Attos. On disconnect, Attos stops receiving new messages for that connection and immediately deletes the stored credentials (access tokens) for it; conversations it already received stay stored until your organization deletes them or cancels its account.

To request deletion of other personal data your organization has recorded in Attos, write to info@bdbagency.com. Meta connections authorized BEFORE October 4, 2026 were not recorded with the identity of who authorized them, so Meta's automated notice cannot find them on its own — for those, request disconnection through that same email.

Checking a request's status

If Meta gave you a confirmation code when requesting deletion, you can check its status at /eliminacion-de-datos/estado. "Completed" means Attos already disconnected and deleted the credentials of the connections that identity had authorized — not that other people's messages were deleted.
